Acquiring a business is a detailed and complex process. Valuation, financial and operational decisions must be made with great care to insure a successful transaction. Our experienced team assumes the role as key advisor and employs an in-depth process that allows acquiring businesses and their investors to reduce their risks and increase the probability of achieving success.

Our process entails:

Pre-Acquisition Strategy and Planning
– We initially perform an analysis of the transaction to consider its strengths and weaknesses. We bring the disciplines of strategic planning, financial analysis and market research into play to develop effective and successful business acquisition strategies.

Acquisition Plan and Execution
– We develop a specific execution plan to assess the impact of vertical, horizontal or synergistic combinations and identify targets that fulfill the client’s objectives. We initiate contact with targets for the client; assist in negotiations; plus coordinate with other professional service providers (attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and lending sources) to provide structure to the due diligence, financing, and closing arrangements.

Post-Acquisition Integration - We use our knowledge and contact network to provide assistance on matters related to communications to stakeholders, staffing (interim and permanent) and development of process and systems necessary to facilitate transition and integration.
